Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton
NEW colors 2017
I cannot resist a rainbow of color! Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton is my preferred solid fabric and I eagerly anticipate the release of new colors. I love color and now with 340 colors in the Kona Cotton fabric range there ample are hues, tints, tones, and shades, to choose from, and countless color combinations to collate.
This year a further 37 colors have been added to the range in a rainbow of colors. I love the new brights (especially Kona Acid Lime), the soft pastels, and of course the neutrals.

I love solids but I use Moda's Bella line. What do you like so much about Kona? Do you find Kona as soft as Bella? Just wondering what the differences are.
ReplyDeleteI love the new colors.
ReplyDeletein response to the question above. I know that Kona has more color choices. I do like Kona cottons very much. I actually quite often use both, which ever fabric color that suits my needs. Moda solids are quite a lot softer, but after washing they both feel the same. I am starting to be more conscious about WHERE and how fabrics are made. These are marvelous colors, Rita
RosemaryB thanks for your reply to my comment on Rita's post. I also have some Kona at home but usually use Moda. I suppose we all use what is available to us. The whole point of solids should be that they are affordable so you can keep a bunch on hand. I don't have a Kona color chart so that often leads me to the Bella Moda colors. Whatever I use, Rita...your quilts amaze me. I don't know how you work so quickly and precisely on those small pieces that you favor. Your style is always fresh and happy. I adore your blog posts. thanks.
