Kujira & Star is Rashida's 6th collection for Cotton + Steel and is part of the Fall 2016 release - due in stores this month. The collection tells a story of a baby whale called Kujira (Japanese for whale) and his best friend Star (a Star Fish) as they explore the waters off the coast of Japan, and all the fun things they discover along the way.
Dancing whales, star fish, tiny fish, boats, flotsam and jetsam, and all the treasures of the deep blue sea ... I love the nautical colors of this collection and the pop of yellow is the perfect contrast color. It shines! The highlight for me however are the quirky shirt prints called Whales Don't Wear Shirts. Obviously. But a fun inclusion as part of this collection.
