Thicket by Gingiber - Stacie Bloomfield
for Moda Fabrics
Thicket is Stacie Bloomfield's first collection for Moda Fabrics and it is a winner! Stacie is an illustrator and founded Gingiber (an illustrative paper goods & homewares store) in 2009 when she wasn't able to find the perfect art to hang in her baby girl’s nursery. Stacie created her own signature style of art prints, pillows, and tea towels, with inspiration drawn from heirloom quilt patterns, animals, and simple color palettes.
Thicket is a collection of visually enchanting black and white patterns and panels forest creatures (panels not shown here). I love the simple strokes, lines, and crosshatches of Stacie's designs; patterns that suit minimalist and modern quilters and designs that are great stash basics. I also love that we are given the option of a clean white fabric base or a natural "linen look" fabric background for all of the prints.
By the way, the panels (featuring bears, owls, bunnies, and foxes) that are part of this collection are adorable! You can see the available panels here.
