Elizabeth by Tula Pink
for Free Spirit Fabric
Woah! Tula Pink's latest collection, Elizabeth, has arrived! Elizabeth is a fantasy adaptation about a dynamic queen based on the life of Elizabeth I of England and tells a story through fabric. There are hidden treasures in many prints, from ships used to fight the Spanish Armada, to pelicans, pearls, and decadent foliage and flowers.

The collection consists of 25 fabrics, 8 different designs in up to four different colors, and is available in three color palettes - Plum, Sky and Tart. Surprisingly (for I am not normally a fan of the color purple), I am rather taken with the Plum color palette.

As we've come to expect from Tula, this collection is quirky, elegant, and vibrant, but distinctively Tula. The medium to large scale floral designs are detailed and even the "stash basics" (the Pearls and the Tudor Window prints) are unusual, however for me the most outstanding design is the 16th Century Selfie:

ReplyDeleteI am so in love with this line! I need to come up with a pattern that will really showcase those faces.
