Lovely new reproduction prints by Japanese quilt artist and designer Atsuko Matsuyama arrived this week. All of the fabrics pictured are from the Old New 30's Collection - 2014 Spring Collection (not all prints that make up this collection are shown here).
The collection includes several small scale designs in a several saturated colorways. These prints are great stash basics, work well with other fabric collections and perfect for scrap quilts.
My personal favorite design from this fabric range is this medium scale floral bouquet print ~ and the colors are just right:

I have also re-stocked some of my Spoonflower favorites. Spoonflower is a custom fabric printing service which allows you to upload your own textile designs, printing only what you need on fabric weight of your choice. You can also purchase fabrics designed by other Spoonflower community members. I really like that you can now choose to have Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton as your base fabric!

ReplyDeleteIts interesting how the 30"s fabric is so vibrant in color. I guess they wanted something fun back then, it was so dreary during the depression. I have a quilt made by my husband's grandmother and it is bubble gum pink and feed sacks! Carol
