Last weekend my husband and I traveled to Singapore - for the Sundowner Marathon for my husband, and rest and relaxation for me. Singapore is beautiful and colorful, the climate warm and humid, the people are friendly and passionate about their food. We did like the locals and made our way around on the train which was not only very affordable but clean and air conditioned. The shopping? The shopping was amazing
I snapped numerous photos with my Iphone and it has been been noted that I spend much of my time looking either up or down:
Of course, I also found my way to a Patchwork Store - Quilts 'N Calicoes in Tanglin Mall and purchased a few fat quarters:
The good news is that whilst I was away my sewing machine was serviced and both my Bernina and I are now ready to focus on some serious stash busting.

ReplyDeleteYour pictures brought back some memories for me, I can remember going to a quilt shop in Tanglin Mall nearly 20 years ago when I lived in Singapore, I was only dabbling a bit in patchwork back then so I don't think I bought anything much.

Colors and designs are inspiring!! Now that your machines are ready to "rock-and-roll" we will all be anticipating exciting stitching!!
