Sunday Stash #175 - Gingham and Summersville Spring

A little basic stashing.
Small Gingham from Riley Blake

Gingham.  The perfect stash builder.  Not unlike your basic dots and stripe fabric this collection by Riley Blake comes in a rainbow of 11 different colors as well as three different sizes.  Pictured here is Small Gingham.  Also available in Medium and Large Gingham.

Gingham by Riley Blake is now available from:
The Fat Quarter Shop
Fort Worth Fabric Studio

I was also rather excited to receive a complimentary bundle of Summersville Spring by Lucie Summers this week.  The black/white print (second from the left - and called Bloomsbury) may well be my next favorite fabric.  Yardage is heading my way!
Summersville Spring is Lucie's second collection for Moda Fabrics (see Lucie's first collection here).  Summersville Spring consists of 7 different designs in up to five different colorways (not all are pictured here). I am looking forward to cutting into these!

Enjoy Sunday!
Rita

  2. More beautiful fabrics! Just curious, is the gingham printed or true woven gingham?

    1. Hi Steph - the gingham is printed, not woven. Thanks for stopping by! Rita

  7. Oh, in 6th grade we had a dance at the end of the school year and I made myself a green gingham dress with a little jacket. It was so cute. My best friend made the same dress in Pink gingham ~ we look fabulous together!
Love all the fabrics ~ darn it anyway (what I mean is ~ more to buy)!

  8. I love gingham! I wish that it was easier to get your hands on woven, 100% cotton gingham, but this is a cute substitute.

  9. I've always loved gingham. My senior prom dress was a purple gingham "upcycled" dress from my sister. I scattered tiny embroidered tulips to the skirt and thought I looked smashing. My date married me only a few months later, so perhaps I really did.
Rita, I mentioned you on my Sunday Quilt Inspiration post today and highlighted one of your quilts. Come by to see,
    Mary
