I love working with these reclaimed vintage striped bed linens and jumped at the opportunity to make a custom order quilt. The quilt top is based on this previously made pillow cover also featuring stripes and the same alternating layout.
I have combined the reclaimed striped bed linens with numerous standard quilting cottons, including stripes in varying widths from:
- Lecien - Color Basics collection
- From Little Things by Sarah Fielke,
- Pirate Stripes from Out to Sea by Sarah Jane
A simple design, allowing the fabric to take center stage. Easy, no mess, piecing.
It's been a good sewing week ... with more to come.
