Brandywine Shawl - A Finished Knit

The Pattern:
The Yarn
2 Skeins (50g)  Lorna's Laces
Shepherd Sock Solid (approx 400 yards)
in Carol Green
Brandywine Shawl is a lace shawl design by Romi Hill.  The pattern includes both written and charted instructions, and although I normally prefer to work from the charted instructions, I found that I had to refer to the written instructions to get started.  Once I understood the pattern repeat I was able to follow the charts.  This pattern required my attention more so than usual; it wasn't easy TV knitting, but the finished shawl is lovely!

Have a wonderful weekend. It's PERFECT knitting weather here today!

  12. I fell in love with your shawls a good while back and remain in awe! Any chance you'd ever consider putting one in your etsy shop or maybe auctioning one for some good cause? :)

  13. So very pretty...it will make any outfit even nicer. I'm trying to teach myself crochet again. Youtube has some great videos to teach step-by-step projects. I made some baby booties but used the wrong needle and so they'll probably fit only a tiny doll! Haha!

  14. Here I am quietly following your blog and admiring how creative and productive you are with your quilt-making and then apparently out of nowhere you come out with this glorious lace shawl that must have taken hours and hours of focussed time to knit. And I think you did the same, not too long ago. You are truly amazing:)
