Thalia - A Finished Knit

Dear Fabic Stash,
I have been cheating on you, ignoring you even.
Yep, it's the call of the yarn and the knitting needles.

The Pattern:

The Yarn:
Madelinetosh Merino Light in Gilded

Truly, this impressive shawl is a quick and easy knit; one I can recommend for beginner lace knitters.  I followed the pattern verbatim and worried endlessly about running out of yarn (weighing and calculating often) without need.

Back to fabric and quilty programming for now.

  4. That is beautiful! I must confess I've been cheating on my fabric with crochet. I just finished 2 shawls and I'm working on 2 others.

  5. Gorgeous and the colour is truely stunning. Bugger cheating on the fabric stash, I want to know how your sleep pattern feels - do you actually sleep? How do you do it all?

  10. I'm also knitting a shawl. Yours is beautiful! I love knitting lace. Too bad it takes us away from our fabric and quilting! Just not enough hours in the day!
