Late last week a large box was delivered to our home and Oliver (our Miniature Schnauzer) took immediate possession of it. I am sure he thought the contents of this box could surely not be fabric this time! You can't hide a box of fabric this big from the financial controller!
I think Oliver was hoping that it contained dog treats and dog toys, and perhaps a new dog bed that was not a quilt. Unfortunately for him, he was wrong.
And fortunately for me it was fabric indeed. Two boxes of the stuff that my dreams are made of (uh yes, I dream of quilts and fabric; my nightmares are rotary cutter mishaps and seam rippers!). Well, you know ...

Oliver is so cute! I've been thinking about grabbing those collections myself - looks like so much fun! (Oh - and I dream of quilting, too!)
ReplyDeleteWow, those are heavenly boxes....enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have been eyeing these and now seeing your treasure boxes, I think I need to go order.
ReplyDeleteWow! They are so pretty! I don't think I would want to take them out of the box!
ReplyDeleteomg...how fun would that be to find on my front porch...
ReplyDeleteI think they came to the wrong address - surely they were meant for me???
ReplyDeletewow. my head would be spinning with fabric wonder! enjoy the new fabulous fabric.
ReplyDeleteOMG. PUP IS SO CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteOliver is a cute schnauzer name--my parents named theirs Zoey.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! You are one lucky lady!!! These are going on my wish list!
ReplyDeleteI have fabric envy. Oliver is so cute. My dogs always think everything is for them too, but if they don't stop scaring the poor UPS guy he may stop leaving my fabric on the front porch.
ReplyDeleteSooooo pretty!!! and the fabric looks lovely too :o)
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
ReplyDeleteJust love the fabrics...I need to get some..Also you could send Oliver right over.. He is so cute...
ReplyDeleteRita that last picture has the perfect pose....he actually looks as though he's hoping and looking out for the postie (or maybe he's wishing you might make him a dog quilt..)
ReplyDeleteOliver is a cutie! I have 2 older schnauzers and love them. I also love those solids-got to check that out!
ReplyDeleteI want a big poster of all that fabric, looking at that everyday would be so inspiring to me. I too have a Yorkie/Schnauzer cross named Oliver. My Oliver is still a puppy, both of his hind legs we were severely broken somehow, humane society picked him up, we had his legs repaired, you would never know this little bundle of non-stop energy has legs full of steel rods and pins.
ReplyDeleteYou are an AMAZING quilter.
Ooooooooooo! YUMMMMMMMMMM!
ReplyDeleteJealous!
ReplyDeleteAt our house it's either, fabric, books or bills, nothing for the dogs. Poor spoiled pups! Love all the FQ's, can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteOLIVER is sooo cute! I have a standard schnauzer GUS. In fact just posted last week about him on my blog...this is the day.
ReplyDeleteNOW that is the way to build a stash..instantly!
Happy Quilting..
HOPE
lucky girl....i'm drooling right now!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Christmas gift for mu-aw?! One can dream--at least your dreams came true!! As for Oliver, poor guy, maybe a nice big bone for him-eh? lol
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! What Fun!
ReplyDeleteOMG (and I've NEVER used that before)!! I would just be staring at them all day afraid to get any of them out of order if I took them out of the box.
ReplyDeleteFabulous fabric. What a super mail day!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you had a mini schnauzer! I keep thinking that they are the right dog for me - what has been your experience in owning one?
ReplyDeleteHow fun to just see it all together like that!!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors! I really love the darks set.
ReplyDeleteI always end up drooling on my keyboard when I look at these Kona FQ boxes! I'm just too cheap to pull the trigger. Man, they are gorgeous, though. I don't think even if I had them I could break them up to cut into them!
ReplyDeleteHappy to see Oliver is still about--you haven't mentioned him in a while, and I didn't like to ask...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really really really *really* want a schnauzie of my own all over again. *loves*

Only one thing to say: awesome. They look SO pretty in the boxes...I would just have to stare at them for awhile before taking them out of the box.
ReplyDeleteOliver is quite a handsome fellow. Poor Oliver.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do with those fabrics. I know it will be great!
Oh, so jealous. I dream of those boxes of Kona cottons!
ReplyDeleteOh, those boxes might not make Oliver drool, but they do me!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are SO gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWowzers.
ReplyDeleteI wish a box like that would show up at my door!
ReplyDeleteoh my, Oliver is the cutest!! And those boxes... yum.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that boxes of fabrics like that are available... they are gorgeous. I think I'd have to sit and look at them and show them to all my (non-quilting) friends before I could even think about cutting them up.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like so much fun! Almost like getting a brand new box of crayons as a kid! I too dream of fabrics and quilts. It must be a side effect, huh? Love your quilts!
ReplyDeleteWonderful fabric. So many possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI have two schnauzers -Oscar and Lucy (Lucinda). Do you remember where you got Oliver's dog jumper? He looks great.
Mmmmmm such a yummy package! I received 3 yards of Kona in Aqua today, and that made me happy!
ReplyDeleteWhat shall you do with all those colors? I'm intrigued :-)
Awh he is so cute! He looks like my dog when I was growing up. They are such good dogs!
ReplyDeleteOh what a cutie! And the boxes are pretty awesome too. I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun with them.
ReplyDeleteDelicious eye candy!
ReplyDeleteCan I ask what you paid in postage for that? Not that I'm likely to be in a position to get one soon, but would love to know just in case ;)
ReplyDeleteWow!!! I can't wait to see what you do with those. We have a miniature schnauzer, too! How fun!
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed! A lovely addition to anyone's stash!
ReplyDeleteThose are so fabulous! I bet you couldn't wait to open those boxes! Can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteOliver, my own wire fox terrier Circe has been similarly tormented and disappointed. She sends her condolences. I, on the other hand, am drooling over the delicious colors you disdain. I can hardly wait to see what your mistress dreams up.
ReplyDeletecovet, covet
ReplyDeleteYou GO girl!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love packages. Now if I could only have one of those gift type packages come by my favorite UPS driver, that would be SEW wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSewing machine here I come!
What a gorgeous package! I think I would just sit there and pet that beautiful fabric. *breaking out my best Dora* I shall call him Squishy and he shall be my Squishy. OK, done drooling.
