This week's fabric stash was sourced locally from Patchwork on Central Park, GJ Discount Fabrics and Spotlight ~ did I mention I was rather restless and unsettled this week? Restless means I have been out and about:
First up Denyse Schmidt ~ Picnics and Fairgrounds ~ has finally arrived at Spotlight. Although range was limited I did find four of the 10 Australia Only prints:
And some basic and favorite fabric re-stashing:
From top to bottom ~
- Avalon - Her Cruiser - Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Organic.
- A Day in The Country ~ Stripes in Mustard, Black and Green
- Stripe Z ~ Red/White by Holly Holderman for Lake House Dry Goods
- and last this has to be in my top 10 favorite prints ~ Sketch Flowers by Suzuko Koseki (Yuwa)
Rita
oh i love the bright colours lovely stash additions
ReplyDeleteFabric Envy!!! How do I get my hands on the AUS prints? Spotlight doesn't carry fabric online. Let me know if you get any leads for us US buyers:D
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask what the other fabrics looked like! Congrats on finding them all! I'm hoping to get some this week.
ReplyDeleteOoooo, I'm so jealous!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen that red and pink vine print of DS here in North Carolina-huh.

ReplyDeleteI foresee a trip to Spotlight this afternoon... Thanks for the tip off! ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I noticed you've got some more stripes...I love what you do with stripes:D
ReplyDeleteSara...the DS prints pictured here are only available in Australia.
ReplyDeleteThey are so lovely!
Great selections! Loving that her cruiser print. And your new rainbow triangle quilt layout is so playful and fun!
ReplyDeleteSpotlight stores don't seem to be launching their DS fabrics at the same time. Frankston hasn't got theirs yet & won't be selling till 1 June
ReplyDeletehmm off to spotlight very soon, hope they have some here in qld!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Rita...also loving the Sketch Flowers...off to see where stocking it...
ReplyDeleteDoh, off I trawl to Spotlight tomorrow... There are three within reasonable driving distance here in Sydney.
ReplyDeleteI am actually impressed by the new material scroatfight is getting in - they changed suppliers. The quilters broadcloth is actually reasonably good quality now, as are various of their own fabrics.
Rita, which spotlight did you visit, I havent seen those at my "local"
ReplyDeleteAhhh, now you're just taunting me! I love the DS prints, I can't get them anywhere in the UK. I think it's time for a trip to etsy and some that are exorbitantly priced!
ReplyDeleteI have checked the Spotlight stores at Penrith and Auburn up here in Sydney's west and neither has this line in yet although I have heard it's definitely coming to Australia.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful eye candy! I certainly hope these will be available soon near here. I really like those stripes.
ReplyDeleteI received a flyer in the mail today from Spotlight advertising this line but my local store doesn't have any yet.
ReplyDeleteI have a vintage sheet which has a pattern almost identical to the bicycle pattern on the avalon fabric! :-)
ReplyDeleteIf you want to do a swap of the prints we have in the US we want in exchange for some of the Aussie versions, let me know.
ReplyDeleteThey have these at Spotlight Moorabin and they are currently 20% off at 13.99
ReplyDeleteThose stripes!! I need those stripes!! I can't find them in the US when I google...any hints? Do they have more in the name? HELP ME find those stripes....
ReplyDeleteOh, to be able to get the Australia-only DS prints. Is there somewhere I can order them??
ReplyDeleteI love those colorways...better than the U.S. ones? maybe because I love the coral...and that gold mustard. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYay! My local Spotlight had all 10 Australia only prints yesterday!
