The solid fabrics pictured above are Robert Kaufman Kona Solids, all of which I've been cutting into, arranging and re-arranging today. Unfortunately it is one of those behind the scenes projects which I can't tell you much about ... sharing will be limited to tiny snippets - just teasers really. But it will be worth the reveal at a later stage.
I hope you've had a great day!
Rita
Can I have your postman?? LOL
ReplyDeleteOver the Christmas period I got a lot of things delivered, but now I seem to have 'dried up'... need to do some more online shopping I think... just have to work out a way that hubby doesn't know ;)

ReplyDeleteI love the mod buds, I think they were my favorite print in the cham pack. After the trees, though... I love them all, hope you'll find tons of inspiration even if you can't show anything yet.

I'm dazzled by 'sugar pops' in pink and aqua for spring! Are those heavier weight than run-of-the-mill quilting weight? Love working with heavier stuff.
ReplyDeleteCoveting now...I think I need to splurge on some more fabric. Wait, maybe I should use some of what I have in my overflowing stash, then I can splurge...

The postman brought me some handmade buttons today. They're lovely but not as nice as a giant stash of pretty fabric! Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the solids together...I have a really strange affinity for shades of gray lately!
ReplyDeleteLook at all the lovely new fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI do have a question though, when you are stashing, how much of each fabric do you buy?
I find that I never know how much to buy. For fabrics that I know fit perfectly into a project I am planning, should I buy a yard? For fabrics that I love but have no idea what I will use them for, should I buy 1/2 yard?
Thoughts?
