A hand delivery all the way from Liberty of London in the UK; a gift from my sister (Quilts on Bastings) who has just returned from an European and UK vacation.
Now I know that the color purple is not a favorite in my fabric stash, however I certainly will make an exception of these!
Lucky indeed! Bet it is great to have Karen back x
ReplyDeleteLucky you for sure, my dear. Such wonderful fabric. Happy Quilting!
ReplyDeleteOh my golly gosh - and I sent her an email saying I imagine you didn't buy anything in Liberty given it's all so expensive but she bought those for you! Gosh, we'd all like a sister who spends money on us in Liberty!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely sister! Enjoy your beautiful stash
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous fabrics! I've got a tiny stash of Liberty and the quality and prints are just amazing! How lovely of your sister to get you such a pretty present! Enjoy your fabrics!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Karen fancies a Liberty quilt?
ReplyDeleteShe's a good girl that sister of yours!!
Purples...the color of royalty...and your sister is a true regent for bringing you home that great pack of fabric. I've never had any Liberty of London fabric but I have drooled onto my laptop when I look at it!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! I have to say that the purple print is definitely my favorite. Just gorgeous! What a terrific sister!

You are licky, they are gorgeous! I just bought a piece of that last one in my local dressmaking shop a few weeks back and I love it. They somehow always have a few half price liberty prints hanging around! (so I guess I am lucky too!)
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed, lucky quilter!! Those are gorgeous prints. I have that last one in red on my drinking glasses which makes me very happy indeed!
ReplyDeletethese are fantastic....
ReplyDeleteI have a dress in that last pattern! Love Liberty of London fabrics. They recently teamed up with Target and sold all sorts of things I loved.
ReplyDeleteI love those fabrics. My fav is the second from the left.
ReplyDeleteI thought you were going to say that since purple is not your favorite, you would need to give those away! Ha - just kidding. They are all so beautiful. Yes, you are so lucky.
ReplyDeleteThey are a gorgeous bundle of eye candy- I bet that they feel terrific too. What a great sister to find you such a wonderful gift.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your treasure.
