Love,love,love them both.
ReplyDeleteI DO see it, too! Certainly not as wonky as the one on the right, but a little wonky & beautiful none the less! I have trouble with wonky, too - in fact I have never actually tried it! Maybe some day!
ReplyDeleteDo you know what these fabrics are? They're so cute and I've been looking for inspiration for a quilt for my little guy!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these! The fabrics coordinate so well together. Gorgeous blocks!
ReplyDeleteI agree - the fabrics are awesome and the whole combo would make for a perfect little boy's quilt.
ReplyDeletethe won on the left
ReplyDeleteis a wittle less wonky
than the won on the right....
xo
love it
eva
These might just be the cutest blocks I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI think the one on the left has just the right amount of wonkiness!
ReplyDeletethey are both fantastic - you are so good!!
ReplyDeleteIt is all down to personal taste. I like it a bit wonky if it is simple patterns. But if there is a lot of 'information' it makes me feel a bit dizzy....
ReplyDeletePractice makes perfect, and it is good to play and have a go!
Gorgeous! I love how the animals walk along the top of the right hand one :)
ReplyDeleteOf course there is some wonkiness - I can understand your difficulty with "wonky" - I too am rather particular about straight lines!!!
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful!!
CMM
love your fabric choices, so soft looking!
ReplyDeleteIt's not just you....I DO see wonky on that block. It's suttle, but there. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, so cute!! What is the fabric with the whales, boats and anchors? I've been looking for something just like that!
ReplyDeleteThe fabric you chose is sooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blocks, I love the centre with the little boat on it. xo
ReplyDeleteStraight patterns are good, but it's so much fun to just play with the fabric and create as you go! I love your wonky blocks, and that fabric is great!!
ReplyDeleteI see the wonk! it's there! I too have trouble with wonky. Love the look of it. Have trouble with execution of aforementioned wonkiness :)
ReplyDeleteI cant tell you how much I love these blocks! I have so many bold color and large print scraps from so many "boy" projects and have never been able to see how they could possible be all put together. This is such great inspiration for me!
ReplyDeletethose fabrics are really cute! i like your "wonky" block on the left more than if it were super wonky. :)
