A Quilt in Progress

I am enjoying some simple piecing for a custom quilt today,

perfect for a quiet Monday morning.

I spent some time on the weekend auditioning fabrics, playing with fabric color and pattern for this quilt. There were many revisions to the layout on the design floor in a quest to fulfill a customer's vision.

No one complained about the design floor inconvenience; there were even suggestions from teenagers that were taken on board and carefully considered.  I do enjoy getting their perspective, changing layouts, walking away, returning to the design floor, changing it again and again.

  13. This will be a beautiful quilt - love the fabrics you have chosen for the front. I can't wait to see what you do for the back - your backs are usually as good as the front!

  14. Nice to see some of those prints ..does it hurt to use some of them up? I won a row of 2.5" seeds in each colour during the last SMS giveaway and I'm being sooooo stingy in using them, although a few have been cut into!!
