Half Hexagon Quilt-Along

Aneela over at Comfortstitching is kindly hosting aQuilt-Along. Here is an easy machine pieced hexagon quilt - at last no Y-seams! It consists of half hexagons that are stitched together in rows to form a great hexagon quilt.

These are some of the fabrics I have pulled from my stash for the Half Hexagon Quilt. I was thinking Green, Orange, Yellow, with a touch of Pink and Grey. I think it will work.

A template for the half hexagon is kindly made available by Ruth from Ruth Designs. If you too would like to join in, Flickrmail Ruth and she will email a template that will print to the correct template size. Also let Aneela know and she will add you to her side bar on her blog.

Check out the links to all the participants and you will see the great variety of Half Hexagon Quilts being made or go to the Flickr Half Hexagon Quilt-Along Group for even more inspiration.
