Doe is Carolyn Friedlander's third fabric collection for Robert Kaufman Fabrics and follows the popular Architextures and Botanics collections. Carolyn's design style is unique and distinctive ~ modern, hand drawn lines inspired by pattern, texture, and elements of art and architecture ~ features of which are represented in all three of Carolyn's collections.
The Doe collection in particular is inspired by Carolyn's love for mixing, rather than matching, print as well as finding beauty in those things that are raw and sometimes imperfect. I rather love the grid prints, the contrast of clean lines and hand drawn designs, as well as the inclusion of several great low volume prints.
