First up some goodies from Spoonflower - all of which are perfect low volume (quiet/white background) prints as well as a nice addition to my collection of text fabrics ~ from left to right:
- Small Type 2 by bzbdesigner
- Say What? by happysewlucky
- Scandinavian Fish by Syko (Kajsa Wikman)
Next, a selection of delicate and dainty Yuwa Kei fabrics by Megumi Sakakibara, again excellent low volume stash fabrics - some of these are fabrics I am re-stashing as I have used up what I had on hand in quilts made.
And last .... I couldn't resist these ~
Diagonal Daisy Gingham in Green, Blue and Grey.

The fabric with the fish is so cool!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the text prints. I saw a wonderful quilt on pinterest that looked like a giant page from some giant book. Imagine sleeping, like a flower pressed in a book.
ReplyDeleteI love the gingham.
ReplyDeleteLove those Yuwa kei fabrics Rita...oh and the fish too. Look forward to seeing them appear in your work.
ReplyDeleteLove the last post too.
Thank you so much for showing off my fish fabric Rita! It looks wonderful with the script prints!
ReplyDeleteWow, great stash!
ReplyDeletegah!! how fabulous are the Spoonflower prints!! I love Berene's and Kajsa's work so much, and I love discovering new Spoonflower designers to take a look at - so will pop across to bzbdesigner's shop. The gingham + daisies are fab - they make me think of Suzuko Koseki. Thanks so much for sharing, I love your regular Sunday fabric post. Catherine
ReplyDeleteThe white collection are cracking. Really love them. My daughter is starting to design on Spoonflower. It is such a great site. And ideal for young designers
ReplyDeleteLove all of the above,lol.xx
ReplyDeleteI love the black and white fabrics!
ReplyDeleteSo nice fabrics!! J.
ReplyDeleteThose whites are my fave!! Lovely. Smiles from South Africa :)
ReplyDeleteOh, love all the fabrics ~ especially those daisies and the fish are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI really like all of the fabrics with writing on them that are around at the moment. I'm only a patchwork beginner but would love to make a quilt for our kingsize bed one day.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you do with all of these fabrics, I love the choices! XXX
ReplyDeleteHey Rita,
ReplyDeleteCan I ask - when you buy fabrics for your stash, how much do you typically buy?
Thanks! Megan
Lovely ideas so off I go to find many of them...lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful patterns!
ReplyDeleteYou have the best fabric stash collections.
ReplyDeleteHi Rita,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you search for your low volume fabrics. Do you have a method or do you just scroll through collections looking for something that catches your eye?
Cheers,
Natski
