I finally pulled out my Amy Butler fabric stash and enjoyed a little piecing which was soon followed by some super quilting ~ a closely spaced quilting grid using colored thread (It's so nice to use thread in a color other than the usual grey/white/beige/cream). More progress pictures soon!
In the mail today :: A restock of quilt labels!
These tapes are custom printed by Anna, the talented
and very clever designer of all things
I adore those labels and have contacted Anna, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am going to contact her too. It is funny because just last night I was looking for some labels for my quilts! Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you did with your fabrics. As well, I've been wanting to purchase some labels. Thanks for the info. :o)
ReplyDeleteRita, I was just trying to figure out what to use on my quilts. I love them! Gonna contact Anna now!
ReplyDeleteThese labels are perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour labels are nice and thanks for the link
ReplyDeleteGreat labels, thanks for the link :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see those labels in use. Do you just sew them flat to the back of the quilt?
ReplyDeleteI am definitely ordering some of those. I love twill tape labels. I have some that are on woven and they are okay, but I like the looks of these SO much more! Cool quilting with the colored thread, BTW!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the resource!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder that I'm not happy yet with my labels. I have already favourited Anna's shop and will look to return soon. Have a great day Rita
ReplyDeleteSuch cute labels!! Must invest in some =D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reference, Rita.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Just this morning I was sewing one of her labels on a quilt and I was trying to remember where I first heard of Anna's labels....it was YOU....about 3000 followers ago!:)
ReplyDeleteJust this week I was contemplating emailing you for the source of your labels, it's like you read my mind! Haha

ReplyDeleteThose labels are great! After an unhappy experience with Swiss Post yesterday ($25 CHF import taxes on 2 small packages of fabric, because each was $1CHF over the $63CHF limit!! I thought I was allowed up to $70CHF, pays to check properly!), I am delighted to see she is pratically a neighbour! I have been searching for labels just this week so, so thank you very much for sharing(again, perfect timing!
