The Heirloom collection comes in three distinct color palettes: Citrine, Ruby and Sapphire. Admittedly I wasn't immediately taken with this recent collection by Joel Dewberry, however when I saw the Citrine colorway fabrics bundled together I absolutely couldn't resist!
The range includes large scale classic florals as well as contemporary motifs to create a timeless style in summary palette. I've picked a favorite - it's a classic and versatile orange and white print:

I have never liked orange much but I keep seeing these orange and aqua and I am in love!
ReplyDeleteswoon!
ReplyDeleteOrange is one of my favorite colors. I love this collection!
ReplyDeleteI love Joel Dewberry. I don't hoard ANY fabric, because I just can't afford to, but I have a nice little stash of Modern Meadow tucked away (and I still buy it on impulse at my LQS!). I'm finishing up a quilt with some Deer Valley and Aviary tonight. Heirloom isn't quite as much my style, but I'd still buy it over so many other lines, and that colorway is so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteI love Heirloom in citrine!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely my favorite colorway in this group too! I can't wait to see what you're going to do with it!
ReplyDeleteI have that same stack...couldn't resist those colors! Smiles~Beth
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the blues in that line! The orange is growing on me too. Especially since a few girls in my stash buster group want orange blocks... not really stash busting if I buy orange BUT maybe some blue will jump in the cart too. I wouldn't want to pick favorites! :)
ReplyDeleteCan I have it please ?
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with this collection the moment I saw it !
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJust picked up some of this colorway too... it is a fresh look at blue and orange!
ReplyDeleteI have been in love with this fabric in this colourway for a while but just can't justify adding another thread of fabric to my stash and another debit to my budget at the moment. Thanks for letting me swoon and stitch vicariously through you! Can't wait to see what you do with it...
ReplyDeleteI always find myself drawn to orange. I love the softness that the aqua brings as well. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteWow i love the colors together!
ReplyDeleteMe too, had to have it as soon as I first saw it. Such willpower ;)!
ReplyDeleteOh I am loving this line! It's bright and cheerful and would make a fabulous modern quilt. Thanks for sharing it with us. Can't wait to get to Lola Pink's (not much of a surprise in that ;-)

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared this fabric with us. It's gorgeous!! If course, I'm going through an orange phase right now, so I loved it immediately. Ordering mine today!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a few of these fabrics from our local quilt shop. I really like the combination of the orange and turquoise.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you create with this fabulous fabric! I bought some fat quarters of the same colorway and have the quilt top in progress.
ReplyDeleteOh so jealous! I love this fabric and that colourway is gorgeous! I'm loving orange :)
ReplyDeleteThere are some great prints in that line.
ReplyDeleteKind of cool and tropical.
ReplyDeleteI love Heirloom in citrine! Thank you so much for posting a photo of the fabric I would have never purchased it, because it doesn't look the same to see a picture of it vs the photo. If you know what I mean. :)
