You know things are serious when bolts of fabric start arriving on your doorstep - although it does raise an eyebrow from the RPQ Finance Dept! But I am definitely in it for the long haul and I am a bit of a fan of this particular fabric:
Robert Kaufman Kona White is a fabric that has been a regular feature in my stash for almost a decade and I have used it in many of my quilts. Now and again I have a moment of anxiety when I realize I am running low on this much used/loved fabric.
Several times each year Hancock's-Paducah offer free shipping and in return I am happy to reward such generosity (this time also combined with a % discount) with a larger than usual order.

ReplyDeleteFor me, white is a major element in my quilts too (even though sometimes I don't).
ReplyDeleteI love Kona White! I actually just finished my bolt last week :(. I guess I need to go shopping :) lol. I had bought mine at Joanne fabric with my 40% off coupon so it was well worth it!
ReplyDeleteI always find myself making a trip to the fabric store to buy more white cotton right in the middle of a project. Having a bolt in my stash would solve that problem!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, and have full bolts of white, snow and ash.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! I have never used that fabric. I'll have to give it a try. I'm pretty new to modern quilts and I love them :-) yours are lovely! Thanks for sharing.

It's so sad when we have to have bolts of our favorites on hand at all times. I love Moda Black, Moda swirl and this white is so crisp! May have to do the same.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of ordering bolts of Kona Ash from my shop because I use it SOOOO much hehe
