I bet you're over the whole stripes thing happening here. Well I promise, this is the last of it ... for a while anyway.
The details:
- Two patchwork pillow covers each measuring 20 inches x 20 inches.
- Suitable for use with 22 inch square pillow inserts which will nicely fill and plump up these pillow covers.
- Patchwork tops have been quilted. Quilt sandwich includes a layer of 100% cotton batting as well as backing fabric.
- Zippered pillow backing for easy insert removal and washing.
- Home Decorator weight fabric is used for the pillow cover backings. The backing fabric is from the Isso Ecco & Heart 2 collection by Lecien.
You'll find these patchwork pillow covers for sale in my Etsy Store. You can find the listing here: TWO PATCHWORK PILLOWS.
With apologies for picture overload,
Rita
ps. All stripe fabrics have been bundled together and stored out of reach. Until next time.
Your stripes are delightful! I especially like the center-facing log cabins. Cute! Looking forward to seeing what you reach for next...
ReplyDeleteStripes are never out of style. Lovely pillows!
ReplyDeleteI just love your stuff! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI love both pillows and how your quilting adds to the effect on each. Love the centre-facing log cabin one. The other one makes me want to make a basket weave effect pillow with two different stripes only.
ReplyDeleteThe stripey fronts are gorgeous but I absolutely LOVE the spotty backs. Especially love the way the spots meet at the flappy bit!!!!!!

Love the stripes!
ReplyDeleteThose pillows are so beautiful. It just makes me think of a house on one of those islands in New York where all the rich people go. Ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteSeriously...they are perfection!
Hi Rita
ReplyDeleteI love these pillows. The backs are an unusual choice, I wish there were a better photo that shows the front and back of each pillow together so that I can see how it works.
See ya

Don't stop the stripes on my account - I'm loving it and working myself up to start something with all the stripes and checks I've been collecting! Your cushions are delightful!
ReplyDeleteLove the stripes! don't stop!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet YOU are over the stripes!
ReplyDeleteLove these pillows... Don't stop
ReplyDeleteApologies not accepted! JUST LOVE when you bombard us with pictures of your lovely projects, so keep them coming ... please.
ReplyDeleteI heartily agree with all of the above. I adore stripes when used with log cabins/sashing/borders, so I think I'm going to have to make myself some cushions like yours.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't stop taking photos -- I found your blog through your Flickr profile!!
Great cushions Rita - I particularly love the diagonal quilting you have done! They look stunning.
ReplyDeleteIm not over your stripey posts... these are lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteHoenstly, despite reading all your stripy posts the day they come up online, I am still in love with those sheets! They remind me of sunny days at the beach
ReplyDeleteA fun series! I really like the pillow with the white centers and striped "logs". The way you have positioned the stripes makes a nice pattern.
ReplyDeleteNever apologize for great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again! I LOVE those stripes!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the stripes, too!
ReplyDeleteFRESH! That is what pops into my head when I see these :o) I love them!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the stripes! Looking forward to next time:D
ReplyDeleteEKK! I adore both of these pillows and the back fabric is so fun and unexpected. The quilting is a great touch. LOVE THEM!!
ReplyDeleteRita, do you know where you got the fabric in the center of the first photo? It's the white base with thin stripes in color pairs. It is EXACTLY what I've been looking for!
ReplyDeleteI love the stripes you've been doing. It's inspired me to work with some striped fabric I've had around for awhile Thank You!
ReplyDeleteDOn't apologize for your stripes...I actually ordered some of my own :). Love the pillow covers!
ReplyDeleteAnother fun post of eye-candy for us quilters. You are such an inspiration for making the simple become complex and interesting (like the positioning of the stripe in the nine-patch). Okay, someday I'll clone that, as I'm tucking it away in my idea file. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteKeep the stripes coming they are so refreshing and different than most of the quilts & other objects being made!
ReplyDeleteI love those pillows! I also am VERY fond of the ubiquitous striped objects. I grew up on the beach and it reminds me perfectly of a warm summer day at the beach.
