Last week I met up with Kate from One Flew Over and Wendy from Enjoy the Journey. We decided a convenient and suitable meeting venue would be Patchwork On Central Park, which sells a great range of fabrics AND has a coffee shop right next door. Two addictions satisfied at the same time!
These fabrics were the chosen ones. The first two fabrics are both Japanese fabrics by Yuwa (please correct me if I am wrong) and the fabric on the right is by Anna Maria Horner from the Garden Party range and is called Waltz in Green.
Lightweight 100% cotton Yuwa patchwork fabric
This is my favorite fabric (for today anyway!), and I have already wisely and carefully used most of the fat quarter purchased. I think I might have to get a little more... but at a cost of $AUD42.00 per meter, I definitely have to think twice about stashing it!! $$ (Hope my husband doesn't read this post!).
Haha I can never post the prices of fabric on my blog because my husband reads it a little too religiously! Gorgeous fabric btw... loving the colours :)
ReplyDeleteNice fabric, but wowza! $42!!! I've been meaning to head over to Patchwork on central park for a while, it's not all that expensive there is it?!
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric Rita, the green is a killer.
ReplyDeleteI love your choices - beautiful colours although a little different for you. Do you have a quilt in mind?
ReplyDeleteI'm always hesitant to put my fabric purchases on my blog in case my husband reads it. The ongoing struggle of fabric addiction!! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics, as always.
Nxt time you girls are catching up, give me a buzz and I'll join you if I can!!
Andi :-)
I love Patchwork On Central Park. I was there this week too......my pink polished cotton and Kaffe shot cottons came from there. Great coffee next door too.:)
ReplyDeleteTry the bakery around the corner....the best vanilla slice in Melbourne!!!! (IMHO) lol
Beautiful fabrics!!
beautiful fabrics, especially love the green, rosy one
ReplyDeleteThe Yuwa was a great purchase Rita! Although on the expensive side, I bet it will look amazing in one of your quilts.
ReplyDeleteLovely to catch up...as always...even if we are bad influences!! ;)
I agree - it is better that hubby doesn't know the prices of things I buy . . . I just don't mention it - EVER! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice fabrics! My husband and I have a great understanding about my fabric collection -- he doesn't ask, and I don't tell!
ReplyDeleteLove the green/rose fabric!!
ReplyDeleteHey Rita - It was lovely to meet up with you & Kate . . . we should again.
ReplyDeleteCheers . . .
Just divine - love the blue binding too.
ReplyDeleteGotta have the yuwa. Love it.
