I have forged ahead with the Half HexagonQuilt Along and have completed the quilt top. Thank you to everyone who left such encouraging comments on my previous post about this quilt.
I am very happy with the overall look of the quilt. It is a little busy but the colors have worked well together and the larger fabric prints have added a lot of interest to the quilt.
The quilt top measures 53 inches x 43 inches.
I am keen to start on the quilting, but still need to prepare the backing for this quilt. Hopefully I will get some time to do this on the weekend. I really need more hours in the day - yawn ....
